FOOD FOR THE CHARIOTS- DAY 2 OF OUR 15 DAYS FASTING ADDITION FRIDAY 16TH JANUARY, 2015 THEME: RENEWING OF MIND AND CLEANSING OF CONSCIENCE SCRIPTURES: ROMAN 121-2, HEBREWS 9:13-14 Today is our second day of our word, prayer and fasting. We are looking at Renewing our mindsets and cleansing of our conscience by fhe blood of Jesus. Due to this, lets look at the various definitions of these two words to enable us pray effectively. 1. mindset isma noun which means - a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines how you will interpret and respond to situationsmindset - a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines how you will interpret and respond to situations. So as a christians, we need to react and interpret situations according to what we believe. If you are still responding to issues as the world does, then it means though you are born again, you reasons and react like the unbeliever and it wont help you as a child of God. For this reason, Apostle Paul encouraged us in Romans 12:1-2 to renew our minds as it s written as a man thinkest in his heart, so he is, meaning you are what you think and reasoned. Conscience on the other hand is the moral sense of right and wrong, chiefly as it affects ones own behaviour, Or a personification of the moral sense of right and wrong, usually in the form of a person, abeing or merely a voice that gives moral lessons and advices. Its a mans conscience that directs his actions and your conscience is dead and you do wrong without feeling it, then there is a problem as achild of God and its only the superior blood of Jesus that can clean our wordly conscience we inherited from the devil our old master. As you study, pray and fast today on this important factors of our christian life, may God give you the strength to fast and travail in prayer. PRAYER: Father, renew my mindset and clean my conscience by the blood of Jesus.
