FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Romans 14:9-13: For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that He might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before Gods judgement seat. It is written: As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before Me; every tongue will confess to God. So, then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Therefore let us stop passing judgement on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brothers way. Lets think deeply about these few verses. I would like to believe that God Eternal will give us guidance and deeper insight into His Word, His will, His opinion or perspective on the subject matter. Th worldly viewpoint should never be used on Christians because they are a new creation in Christ Jesus; the old has gone, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17). It is also written in Romans 8:1 that. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. When we condemn one another as Christians, the following is what we will be doing spiritually or before God Eternal: * We will be trampling the Son of God under foot. ** We will be treating as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctifies us. *** We will be insulting the Spirit of grace. ( Hebrews 10:29). *** We will be crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting Him to public disgrace. (Hebrews 6:6).*** Oh Father, have mercy on us , Your church. We renounce our sins, confess and repent of them. Forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Give us a new begining Oh Lord, as Your Church. Fill Your Church with greater glory. In Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen.*** He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church, which is Christs body. * Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. (Ephesians 1:22-23). ** He is the foundation of the Church. You and i only form part of His body. (1 Corinthians 3:11). *** He is the Chief Cornerstone. (Ephesians 2:20-22). My dear brother or sister, let us be careful on how we build on Christs foundation. To Him be all praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength forever and ever.
