FOOD & SUPPLIES DESPERATELY NEEDED FOR 350 DOGS – MOALAND SHELTER ROMANIA DONATE HERE: k9aid.org/cs_cause/food-supplies-desperately-needed-for-350-dogs/ Maoland shelter is home to 350 rescued dogs who would otherwise have been killed, captured by illegal dog catchers or face an even worse death in one of Romania’s death camp public shelters. These dogs are alive because of Marinela Piperea who is one special and very dedicated human. Not young herself she dedicates every moment looking after these dogs. Marinela asks nothing for herself and lives in a small caravan onsite with no bathroom or proper cooking facilities. Her dedication to seeing these dogs eventually get a home is at very most inspirational. The dogs are fed what is donated however more often than not there is not enough food for all of them so she has to feed the puppies and older dogs first and the others miss out until more food can be found. Marinela also needs to find the funds to microchip all the dogs before the end of the year. The animal welfare laws now mean that all dogs must now be chipped and if they cannot raise the funds for this then Marinela runs the risks that the dogs will be taken to the Constanta Public Shelter which is hell for dogs. There is so much to be done and so many things that are needed. Food is of utmost importance but if you can spare a little extrea Marinela would love to buy extra dog houses to ensure they have some shelter with the coming winter. Please donate so she can feed all the dogs at least one meal a day, get their microchipping done before the end of the year and buy some dog houses.
