FOODS THAT HELP MANAGE ARTHRITIS Did you know there are more than 100 types of arthritis? Common arthritis symptoms include inflammation, pain and stiffness. To get your weekly doses, add spoonfuls of pure pumpkin puree (not pie filling, which is sweetened and spiced up) to vanilla yogurt or to meat sauces for tacos, chili or spaghetti sauce. • Red bell peppers are also a powerful inflammation fighter because of carotenoids, but they also have a whopping 250% of your daily recommended amounts of vitamin C which is important for warding off arthritis.
