FOR ADOPTION Baxter. Baxter is a Beagle x Staffy age 4. He has ongoing medical issues which are being addressed now. He is in foster care and has been assessed and is now ready to find his own sofa. Baxter came into rescue as he has epilepsy, however once in the care of a foster we realised he also has a terrible ear infection that had rendered him deaf. He was taken to the vet immediately and put on antibiotics and steroids. Within 24 hours Baxter was showing a marked improvement. Now, he can hear, is quite happy to have his ears rubbed, his skin is all healed up and he has not had a single seizure in foster care. Baxter is having a ball in foster care. He is very social and loves to play. He is now the dog he was always supposed to be. He is eating well and while a little portly his foster mum has put him on a diet. No food, toy or dog aggression at He is naughty, mischievous, loving, playful and now, well on the road to being a lovely healthy boy. Baxter must be homed with another dog. He has always lived with other dogs and so being an only dog now would not be ideal for him. He is fine with children as his foster mum had children to visit and he loved it, more attention for Baxter, not daft is our boy. He has also been cat tested and passed with flying colours. He travels well and is now clean indoors. He sleeps well at night and gives the most amazing welcomes when you come in after he has been alone for a short time. Baxter must be kept on his diet to keep his weight in check as he does like his food and will try to steal from Kitchen counter. Apart from that, this handsome boy will make a fantastic pet for a family with children 8+ and another resident dog for him to play with. If interested in Baxter contact [email protected]
