Image for an Event Poster Today I would like to share with you a composite that I made for an event poster at my workplace. As a designer, I deal with images all the time and purchase stock images from websites such as Getty, Corbis, Shutterstock etc. Unfortunately, the image I had in mind for the design of this poster was not available from any of the stock libraries so I had to make one by myself. What you see here is a final composite. Its made up of four individual images, two out of which (Dallah, Dates) were downloaded from shutterstock. The other two (background pattern and coffee cup) I shot using 5D Mark II as seen from COMPONENTS in comments. A lot of work was done in Photoshop including unifying WB across elements, dodge/burn, creating shadows and highlights, creating reflections, radiosity effect and DOF effect. The seamless background was created from a single close up shot of the traditional pattern as seen in comments. You might have questions so feel free to ask.
