FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Ann Arbor, Michigan, January 5th, 2015 – Representatives from DSO Sports and the Michigan Sting Elite announced this week that the two organizations merged its girls basketball programs on January 1, 2015 resulting in the DSO Michigan Sting. DSO Sports is currently the fastest growing program in the state of Michigan in both Boys & Girls basketball while the Michigan Sting Elite have developed a highly competitive program that ranks within the Top 3 in the state every year, Top 10 in the region and Top 50 nationally for the past 5 years. With this partnership, DSO Michigan Sting plans to continue offering a platform for girls basketball players to showcase their talents in hopes of playing at the collegiate level. In addition, it will continue to prove as the Premier Girls Basketball Program in the state of Michigan. “Great basketball minds think alike and I cannot be more excited about the partnership with the Sting. The Michigan Sting have already established itself as one of the TOP AAU girls programs in the state successfully placing over 30 players in Division I, II, NAIA & III college programs since 2011. With this year’s class already showing a strong promise with the #6 ranked player in the class of 2016, Nastassja Chambers and Class of 2017 Top 20 ranked Rozhane Wells and Katlyn Brownlee, DSO Sports Michigan Elite plan to repeat several strong national performances in national events like the Run the Roses and the Peachtree Classic. “DSO Sports is one of the few programs doing the right thing with travel and aau basketball.
