FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE City of Elizabethtown Construction Work Valley Creek Road Culvert Replacement Project On Monday, July 29th, construction work will begin to replace the existing stormwater culvert at Valley Creek Road between Hodgenville Road and Hawkins Drive. Full closure of the street will be necessary to complete the project. Vehicular access to the remainder of Valley Creek Road will be maintained through detours along nearby local streets, including Hodgenville Road, Hawkins Drive, and Steel Drive. Valley Creek Road will remain closed for approximately three (3) weeks while the stormwater work is being performed. Weather delays and unforeseen working conditions could alter this estimate of time to completion. When driving in this area, please use extreme caution and always allow extra time to safely reach your planned destination.
