FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE DSO Sports has signed a two-year deal with UNDER ARMOUR that makes the travel basketball program the areas only sponsored program. I have been working on this deal since we had the NIKE sponsorship for only 4 teams. said DSO Sports Founder Jarell Brown. Under Armour has been looking for different ways to construct deals in the grass roots space. Other Under Armour grass roots sponsorships are unknown but DSO Sports has 2 other prolific sponsors looking to grow their 2015 grass roots initiatives. What strikes me about the partnership with Under Armour is that they wanted a true partnership to support youth development. This will be seen in not only our teams but through new training programs and services as well. said Jarell Brown. It is one of the first Under Armour program-wide deals in Michigan for N.Y.-based Under Armour and the launch of the partnership will be immediate, but tournaments will not start until Spring 2015. The agreement comes just five days after the 2014 fiscal year, indicating a concentrated marketing plan to come in the upcoming weeks/months.
