McIlrath (843) 455-4762 James@Grandstrandcpas Teens Across North America Dancing for Research Myrtle Beach, SC - On Saturday, March 8, more than 75 American and Canadian teenagers will meet at KARMA Ultimate Teen Night Club to dance for charity. The teens are members of Junior Civitan, a worldwide youth service organization and division of Civitan International. They will be dancing for twelve straight hours to raise money for research into developmental disabilities and other cognitive disorders. Participants have each raised at least $100, with some raising several thousand dollars. So far, they have raised nearly $40,000 for this great cause. Funds will go to the Civitan International Research Center, a world-class medical research facility which researches illnesses such as autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, epilepsy and more. The dance will begin at 11:00 a.m. at KARMA Ultimate Teen Nightclub, located at 1101 North Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC. Junior Civitans will dance nonstop for the next twelve hours, with a single five-minute break each hour, and one half-hour dinner break.
