Mr. Geoffrey, SFRT Director, is inviting friends, family and the SF Art community to join us in celebrating a celestial milestone of Eric Wards existence with us (birthday). As an accomplished artist, he was heard to say, Art is a gift and sharing that gift has ALWAYS brought me GOOD things. Lets make this birthday wish come true. This year has been marked with pain as well and SFRT wants to wish those affected members a speedy recovery for themselves and families. We are here to acknowledge change and assist in that process whenever possible. SF Recovery Theatre welcomes Tomas Jay (TJ) vocalist as our guest performer this month (tomasjayexperience) Coming soon 12/6 matinee of the SFRT production of Porgy & Bess. Geoffrey Grier heads the Company and also host the Mr. Geoffrey’s Show, a local on-line show that focuses on the issues, concerns and events of the Tenderloin community. Grier feels that SFRT’s productions are the only safe place that people of different cultures, races and religious backgrounds can experience the lifestyle of another without feeling threatened. While many people are still battling substance abuse, mental health, or housing problems, it becomes a formidable task for SF Recovery Theater to rise to the challenge to assist those in need to build healthier lives and enrich the citys culture.
