This NEEDS to be shared: (Re: WestJet customer Service) Today, Alisha and I were shocked to find out that due to an error by CheapO air, she had no flight from Halifax to Calgary. After an hour and a half of phone calls, humour and an eventual solution, the WestJet attendant, Cheryl, scored Alisha an earlier flight seat that had just become open. This woman had been there since 4am, with a cold, and was so patient, gracious and humorous. After Alisha got on her flight, it turned out that MY flight was delayed as well do to aircraft maintenance. While the guests were (understandably) disgruntled, I was just grateful we didnt take off and end up crashing cause something went wrong. We all went to collect our luggage and I went up to the clerk and offered to stay over night if that would help the process at all. The WestJet attendant (ALSO there since very early, and working overtime cause of many people calling in sick) gave me a free hotel room, an early flight for the morning and food vouchers totaling $60! Talk about amazing customer service. Grace and thankfulness go a long way. But today I experienced the best customer service of my life. THANK YOU WEST JET!
