FOR SALE: Hand wrought 18th Century Riflemans knife made by the well known gunsmith HERSHEL HOUSE! If you have been around the Living History world in the last 20 years, then you know who he is and should be familiar with his work! This knife is designed to look like a knife that was made from a salvaged sword. The handle is walnut, with antiqued iron finger guard and butt bolster. The blade is peened for tightness. The blade has some of Hershels characteristic stamps! such as his turkey track stamps! and it is also stamped with his signature HH cartouche! Blade is made from high carbon steel, and has never been used! Handle is 5 and blade is 10 and comes with leather sheath. I dont know who made the sheath. Would like to get $400 PLEASE MESSAGE ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS! SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE! Relisting this because last time I had multiple messages saying I was asking too little. Even had offers for more than I listed it! Alas, those who offered more bailed! Typical huh!
