FOR THOSE THAT TRUELY BELIEVE THEY ARENT TOXIC TOWARDS OTHERS. (Dnt find fault, FIND REMEDY!) Every time you ask God for something, you are telling yourself that you do not yet have whatever that thing is. So what are you saying to yourself when you confess the same sin over and over again? You are saying, “God is refusing to forgive me for this.” Does this sound like a faith-inspiring statement? No. It is actually a rejection of truth. God says that He has already forgiven you for all of your sins through Christ. But every time you ask Him to forgive something, you are denying what Christ has ALREADY done for you. Such a practice is going to drain your soul. God never tells you to ask Him for forgiveness after you are saved. People tell you that because people have weak faith. If you want strong faith, you have to start standing on truth instead of rehearsing lies. “God thank You for already forgiving this sin”—this is a faith-building statement. You’re still acknowledging that you did something wrong, but you’re also acknowledging what God has already done about it. Rehearsing truth and expressing gratitude towards God: these are two things which will strengthen your soul. Rehearsing doubt, focusing on the negative, wallowing in guilt, and cowering in God’s Presence—these things are only going to drag you down.
