FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY GOD THE FATHER, JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT ARE SEPARATE BUT CO EQUAL....... God the Father wants that no man shall be lost. Simple. His chosen people , the Jews, kept breaking the old covenant, the Law of Moses, so God the Father , in His infinite mercy, decided to make a new covenant with them. He had always appeared to them in a cloud, as God the Father cannot be looked upon. So.....God devised a way for ALL Jews to be able to come into His presence. Prior, only the Levite priests could enter the inner chamber so as to be in the presence of God. First, the Levite priests had to make a blood sacrifice of a Lamb and they had to wash their hands before entering the temple. They had to be clean,. in their bodies, to come before God. God decided that this process would change. He decided to GIVE them a new sacrifice...another Lamb. God is spirit so could not, in spirit form , come to earth to be that sacrifice. So, He made Himself flesh by sending His Holy Spirit to beget a child. God had to be born in a mortal body, a body capable of dying....because, in spirit form He is immortal ( never being able to die) and eternal ( always being in existence), and, as a sacrifice, to atone for the sin , not only of Israel, but for the whole world.....HE BECAME A MORTAL, LIVING MAN. God so wanted to save mankind that He made Himself lower than the angels....in order to be human....to live as we do, to face temptation as we do, to die as we do and to be resurrected as we will have to be...in order to put on immortality. So....God was born of a virgin. His spirit caused Mary to be with child. As only God can create life, without the help of man....we know that the Holy Spirit is ALSO God. Lets skip to when He was crucified. He rose, from death, the only one to ever do so...as an immortal being. God raised 8 souls altogether...the last being Lazarus.....but none were raised immortal as they lived...and died and went back to the grave. The Word says that ONLY God is immortal...and here was God, in the flesh, also known as Emmanuel ( God is with us)...and as Jesus.....or Yashua, His Hebrew Name. Jesus was raised IMMORTAL...so we KNOW that He is God.....for ONLY God is immortal. God, as Jesus, then ascended....but STILL He wanted the whole world to know Him ....all those yet to be born, so He reverted back into spirit form and came as the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is referred to as He or Him...because He has ALL the attributes of God. The Holy Spirit speaks to us, as Jesus did. He comforts us, as Jesus did. He convicts us of sin, as Jesus did, He reveals Gods truth to us, through the Word, as Jesus did. These are ALL the things God the Father did for the Israelites.....while in Spirit form. ONLY God is omnipresent...able to be everywhere at once. Jesus is omnipresent as proved when He spoke to Nicodemus. He told this Jewish leader that no man had ascended into heaven, except the Son of man who IS in heaven. At the same time He was speaking to Nicodemus, He, Jesus, was in heaven. He is omnipresent still...as He lives in the heart of every believer...throughout the world. The Holy Spirit is omnipresent....He also dwells in mankind...and His presence can fall on people, anywhere at any time.......at the SAME time......throughout the world. So...as ONLY God is omnipresent we KNOW that both Jesus and the Holy Spirit are God...as both have the exact same attributes AS GOD. God the Father did all He could to ensure that His presence was with man. he appeared as spirit to the Israelites, as Jesus in the flesh and back to spirit FORM to come back , after He ascended, as a resurrected immortal man.....as the Holy Spirit. God HAS THREE roles, so to speak....but is STILL God. The book of Revelation tells us that God has His dwelling place with man, for all eternity, in the New Jerusalem. The Word also tells us that God lives, in heaven , in unapproachable light...whom no one has or can see. Is this a contradiction ? How can He live in heaven AND the new Jerusalem with mankind, forever IF He is unable to be seen or approached. ? Because when He comes back to resurrect the dead in Christ and to change both the righteous dead and the living , into immortal, eternal, spiritual beings....He is coming back as Jesus ( for spirit cannot be seen)....who is immortal and eternal. Jesus Christ IS God...as is the Holy Spirit...as is the Father. God made Himself to BE a man ...then to stay with us , as the Holy Spirit ...until He returns as the risen Christ. God is omnipresent and omnipotent...all powerful. He can be who He wants, when He wants. The Jews spoke of ONE God of Israel....rightly so...as they didnt need Christ in the flesh UNTIL they crossed the line by breaking the law continuously ....THEN when God arrived , as Yeshua, they did not recognise Him.....as evidenced by Jesus when He said to Phillip....Dont you recognise me Phillip ? When you have seen ME you have seen the FATHER When Jesus said that He and the Father were ONE.....He meant exactly that. Lets see just how clear scripture is about WHO Jesus really is: John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 5:18 - For this cause therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God. John 8:24 - I said therefore to you, that you shall die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you shall die in your sins. Note: In the Greek, He is not there. John 8:58 - Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am. Exodus 3:14 - And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM; and He said, Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ John 10:30-33 - I and the Father are one. 31 The Jews took up stones again to stone Him. 32 Jesus answered them, I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me? 33 The Jews answered Him, For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God. John 20:28 - Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God! Col. 2:9 - For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form. Phil. 2:5-11 - Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Heb. 1:8 - But of the Son He says, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom. Quoted from Psalm 45:6, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Thy kingdom. Jesus is worshipped - Jesus said to worship God only, yet He receives worship. Matt. 4:10 - Then Jesus said to him, Begone, Satan! For it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’ Matt. 2:2 - Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east, and have come to worship Him. Matt. 2:11 - And they came into the house and saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell down and worshiped Him; and opening their treasures they presented to Him gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh. Matt. 14:33 - And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, You are certainly God’s Son! Matt. 28:9 - And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him. John 9:35-38 - Jesus heard that they had put him out; and finding him, He said, Do you believe in the Son of Man? 36 He answered and said, And who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him? 37 Jesus said to him, You have both seen Him, and He is the one who is talking with you. 38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshiped Him. Heb. 1:6 - And when He again brings the first-born into the world, He says, And let all the angels of God worship Him.
