FOREVER LOVED SESSION- UPDATE ON BABY GIO: PLEASE SHARE. Many of you fell in love with sweet, 19 month old baby Gio. I have attached his story for those of you who have not yet read about him. I spoke to Missy the other day and she said that she doesnt know if she is necessarily coping with anything. Her family doesnt have a choice but to be there for their baby. She has spent most of her time in the hospital praying and watching old videos of him on her phone. She reflected on how he always made her laugh, even when he would throw his tantrums she would video them because they were just so cute. Missy would give anything to hear him cry or throw a tantrum again. Sal, Missys husband, is doing as well as can be expected. She thinks that he is trying to be strong for her but she knows that he feels completely broken. This was his baby, his son, his heart and now he is laying in a bed, lifeless. Gio has made no progress since the accident. On a daily basis, the couple sits and pray for his recovery but they now understand that this is their reality and they just want him to be peaceful and as comfortable as possible. Missy is expecting another baby and has said that it is extremely hard for her to embrace this pregnancy. They were having another baby to become a family of 4. Missy and Sal wanted Gio to have a baby brother. He loved babies and Missy has said that it just doesnt feel right to be excited about the pregnancy at this time without him. At this point Missy feels like she cant go on. She doesnt think she can be the same person without Gio. Gio was her whole world, her baby, her everything. Its been told to me, countless times, that loosing a child is the greatest loss a person could ever suffer. Lord, I come to you today to up lift Gio . I know that in times like this, his Mommy and Daddy are in despair. Please keep them strong in you, so that they can have some comfort in the decisions for this dear, little child. Please keep Gio free from any pain. We adore this small and fragile little child. Bestow your grace and peace to them and all who love them. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen.
