FORGIVE & FORGET IT ALL Are you holding a grudge? You know, you can’t physically see it but hidden in your heart. You know you should forgive and forget but you don’t and you won’t. Why? It’s because it’s so easy to hold onto a grudge. Perhaps u have been disappointed, disrespected, and lied to, secret shared not kept? A Grudge is something that is "carried" internally, it is real, it is heavy, and the effects of carrying it internally can be seen outwardly in our actions toward others via in person on the phone or through text and e-mails. It can cause great harm to others and us physically and mentally, and though it is not tangible, it can grow and become bigger and in time it could completely rob our lives of certain things like Joy and Blessing from others. Holding onto a grudge will also affect others around us that are innocent of having anything to do with it at all. My friend holding a grudge leads to hurt bitterness, anger, resentment and self-destruction. It tears up families, ruins good friendships and worst of all it can divide up a church sad but true. Put aside fears, prejudgments, resentments and hatreds and show real agape love and compassion for all people for this is the mark of true child of God. Anger, hatred, harsh words, retaliation and revenge only result in more of the same. Only love can conquer evil. A grudge is something in your past, and your past is past it does not need to last. Your past can’t hurt you today unless you keep going over and over it in your mind. Just be patient with one another and forgiving. When someone hurts u do not “hold a grudge" but forgive him or her and drop the offense. Forgiveness will release healing into our lives and keep bitterness from growing. The Theft named Grudge can cause more harm than good to you it builds up to be very ugly in our lives and causes a negative effect on us. Now take a good look at yourself and see if u are harboring any Grudges with someone? If u are resolve to let them go. Take those grudges right now and get rid of them. Now choose to carry forgiveness in you heart, and let God Himself Restore you.
