FORGIVENESS DISARMS SATAN When you have been hurt and you are operating in unforgiveness and others who love you operate in unforgiveness because of your hurt it makes way for satan to have a field day. The Word of God says that we who have been hurt should initiate forgiveness which may cause others to do likewise. We forgive because Jesus has authorized us to do so for without forgiveness, we give room for satan to have his way in our lives. Forgiveness benefits us as much as it benefits the one who is forgiven and it disarms satan, bringing Glory to God. GODS WORD: 10 When you forgive this man, I forgive him, too. And when I forgive whatever needs to be forgiven, I do so with Christs authority for your benefit, 11 so that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes. (2Co 2:10-11 NLT)
