FOUND THIS AND THOUGHT IT WAS A PERFECT EXPLANATION! Hi all, I noticed some of you are questioning why you have people on your wall that dont belong, in other words, people you arent friends with. Dont panic, Ill show you why :) If a person on your friends list clicks something on their wall that is posted to the PUBLIC, it will appear on your wall too, because your friend either clicked like OR commented on it. There is a lot of debate about posting publicly. I personally will not be friends with anyone who posts game items for the world to see. In my opinion there is no need for FV feeds to post to anyone but my neighbors. Public posts open you up to hackers, malware, etc. Ive taken 2 screenshots to show you how to tell if a post is for friends or for public. The first shot is posting to friends, you can tell by the little image under a person name (people icon), with orange arrow pointing to it. The second shot is a post I found on my wall, from a person named, Jodi, who is not my friend. But because a friend of mine liked it, it appeared on my wall (notice the world image noted with orange arrow). I hid my neighbors name for her privacy, Since Jodi posts to the public, I felt no need to hide her Identity! Hope this helps, happy farming to all!
