FQ: I am currently 11 weeks in my second pregnancy. First pregnancy ended in a week 10 miscarriage due to loss heart beat caused by chromosomal abnormalities ( last year ) my fiancé and I agreed to try and again and after a year that seemed like for ever it finally has happened again. We do weekly OB appts ; baby seems fine and HB as well however I am positive for sickle cell trait and we found out today there was an abnormality with baby dads recent bloodwork. Sickle cell runs in my family, althought it isnt something I want for baby, I can tolerate it. OB suggest we go for genetic counseling , anyone else ever went and everything turned out fine? Just worried out of my mind. Praying its nothing more serious like downs or spinal bif etc. Please keep us in prayer.
