FQ: I have a question and also wondering if everyone could keep us your your thoughts. Im a FTM and only 29 weeks along. Yesterday while at work I thought I was getting contractions. At first I thought they were just the BH ones in late pregnancy but shortly realized they were coming more often and they actually hurt, so I left work and went to the hospital. When we arrived they sent me up to L&D and hooked me up to monitors to see if I was having contractions and also to read The babies heartbeat. They noticed I was having small tightenings ( contractions) and when they checked my cervix they said it was soft and getting thin.. Im just really concerned because Im only 29 weeks (tomorrow) and everything I have read says when your cervix gets soft its getting ready for early labour. Do you know anything about this or what will happen if I do go into labour this early. Will my son be ok if it turns out I do end up having him shortly? ~4
