FQ: I have seen 2 OBGYN doctors who both have taken multiple hcg - TopicsExpress

FQ: I have seen 2 OBGYN doctors who both have taken multiple hcg levels and have done a vaginal ultrasounds. I am 7 weeks pregnant today and started bleeding on June 23rd like I started my period, it slowed down to spotting, and then it picked back up 2 days ago with some blood clots being present. Since the 23rd my hcg levels have been 268, 248, 444, 800 something, and 1000 something. Both doctors diagnosed me with an abnormal pregnancy and are very worried about an ectopic/tubal pregnancy and want me to get the Methotrexate shot because they said a normal pregnancy is 2000 or higher. Biggest thing is I havent felt/experienced any pain , except some mild cramping which I heard was normal. Ive always heard that ectopic pregnancies are extremely pregnant. I went to the ER (7 hours) to get the shot done last night since I couldnt go to my doctors office yesterday. They did an ultrasound, more bloodwork (this is when my HCG was 1000 something), and a pelvic exam. On all ultrasounds Ive had there have been no abnormalities seen, but also no fetus seen. The ER doctor spoke with another OBGYN doctor and that doctor said he does not recommend the Methotrexate shot at this time. I am getting so many mixed signals from doctors and DO NOT want my tube to burst if this baby is located in my tube. Has any other women out there had low HCG levels, similar symptoms, and had a normal pregnancy? Can anyone please tell me if they have had similar experiences and what the outcome was? Any advice and information is welcomed! TIA! ~12
