FRANCES COKER COOK RAYFrances Coker Cook Ray, 75, went home to be with the Lord Monday September 29, 2014, at Williamsburg Regional Hospital, after a long illness.She was born February 3, 1939 the daughter of Joe Coker and Eugenia Gibbons Coker. She loved to work crossword puzzles and embroider pillow cases, scarves and such to give away as gifts to loved ones.When she was able she loved to sing in the choir at her home church, Hemingway First Baptist. She loved her family and her family loved her. She will be greatly missed.She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Wesley Coker and David Ray; Four brothers, Earl Coker, Keith Coker, Guy Coker and Ira Coker; eight sisters, Ellarine Welch, Josephine Gibbons, Olive Mellette, Margaret Carter, Eula Watkins, Willie Bell Lane, Dora Wilson and Vivianne Coker.She is survived by her sister, Annie Morris of New Zion and a pile of nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday October 2, 2014 at Hemingway First Baptist Church with burial directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, S.C. to follow at Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery 2273 Hebron Road, Cades, S.C. 29518 The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday October 2, 2014 at Hemingway First Baptist Church, East George Street Hemingway, S.C. 29554.Memorials may be made to the Hemingway First Baptist Church PO Box 485, Hemingway, S.C. 29554.
