FREE ACCREDITED HERITAGE CONSERVATION COURSE LINCOLN Repair and maintenance of traditional buildings - November 11th and 12th, Lincoln National Heritage Training Group are holding a course at the Lincoln Heritage Skills Centre on the 11th and 12th of November. It is designed as a taster to people wanting to work in the heritage construction sector. It is accredited by the Construction Industry Training Board, which means people that pass the test at the end will get a certificate demonstrating some knowledge of heritage construction. As this is the first course we are holding in Lincoln, we are offering it for free, but there is a limited number of places. This accredited course is aimed at people that want to find out more about working in the historic building sector. Whether you are a builder, an architect or a home owner, this course can introduce you to the basic concepts of the sector. The course is taught by experienced professionals that cover subjects such as legislation and policy, recording works and preparing sites. There is no charge for this course.
