FREE TO A GOOD HOME ivy is a pit bull/ pharaoh hound mix that we rescued from a shelter about 6 years ago. Shes about 45 lbs, on the smaller side for pits. She neutered, up to date with shots and has no allergies. Very affectionate, energetic, expressive, and smiley. When you walk her on a leash she trots along and looks up at you every few seconds to see if your having fun too its the cutest thing youve ever seen. She is very protective and made me feel absolutely safe when ever we were together and when I was alone in the apartment. Because of this, she is good with people, but only people she is familiar with, she needs a proper (yet short) introduction... a treat and a belly rub to get her on your side forever. Although weve tried, I havent been able to get her to get along with other dogs or cats. Maybe with the right kind of private training this could be accomplished. Ivy needs a strong and capable owner so she knows whos the boss (most dogs need a leader too) She likes to sleep and snuggle when shes home, and is very house broken, never chews on anything (except her own toys and blanket).
