What: This FREE workshop will offer hope for the journey, by examining three essential skills that will better equip parents to become “trauma competent healing parents. During the workshop, participants will be coached on these three essential skills: • How to maximize a childs sense of felt safety. • How to help a child manage overwhelming emotions. • How to help a child with difficult behaviors. THE SPEAKERS: Jayne and David Schooler , foster and adoptive parents, have been active in orphan ministry for over 25 years encouraging and training adoptive and foster families and advocates for the fatherless across the world. Jayne has been a featured speaker at numerous state, national and international conferences. She is the author/co-author of seven books in the adoption field.
