***FREE VERY LARGE TATTOO*** Did I get your attention? Here is how it works. I am just finishing up last years Winter Project (pic attached). It is getting close to time for me to consider another, very large, project that I will be doing on my own time. My labor will be FREE. The only cost to you is the materials (breaks down to about 30-40 bucks per sitting (even if the sitting lasts 5 hours), your time, commitment to actually COMPLETE the damned thing, and the ability to allow me to work the way I work without guiding me thru the process. Now, I have an idea as to some things I would like to do, but just like last winter, I am looking to see what YOUR ideas are. Maybe you will come up with something that I didnt (like last years project....it was HER idea). So, if you can commit to three hours or so every couple of weeks to get a sick ass piece done, get at me with your ideas so that I can decide what I may want to do this winter. What do you get out of it? You get a Magazine/competition/award quality piece at a price that you will NEVER get unless you are married to a high end tattooist or something (last years has already become an AWARD WINNING piece). My base rate for large tattooing is $150/hour. The last winter project lasted 38 hours. YOU DO THE MATH as to how much her tattoo is worth. No where else will you get this kind of opportunity from a PROVEN award winning and mutipublished tattooist. Why am I doing it and what do I get out of it? I get to do work that is difficult to sell because mos people cannot afford to get it and the subject matter may not be what you consider typical tattooing. I get to take pictures and use them for advertisement purposes and if there is a near by convention, I get to enter the work in competition whenever it is reasonable for you to make it to the show (if a show is in CA obviously I dont expect you to go----but you can if youd like). The criteria is this: It needs to be ONE image or scene that covers an entire body part (sleeve, leg sleeve, full back, full chest, etc......). What it is NOT is Id like a bunch of symbolic things collaged together to fill up a space with a story. I do that tattoos all the time in the shop and we can certainly work out something for you...but that is NOT what this project is about. I have not decided this year if I want to do a full color piece or a black and gray piece or even a fusion piece....when/if we come up with a candidate that is viable I will decide according to the piece. I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO DO COVERUP WORK FOR THIS PROJECT. What does that mean? If you want a sleeve but you have four arm tattoos already, you probably are not a good candidate for this project. I am not doing add ons, piece togethers, coverups, etc....this is to fill up empty skin. If this sounds like something you would be interested in and are SERIOUS about doing it, contact me here.
