FREEZING DRIZZLE ADVISORY CONTINUED FOR: (For the next 4 hours, any Warnings, Watches, Advisories or Statements will be posted as comments to this post) Bay of Exploits Bonavista North Buchans and the interior Burgeo Connaigre Deer Lake Gander and vicinity Grand Falls-Windsor and vicinity Green Bay Humber Valley Ramea Terra Nova White Bay Areas of freezing drizzle are expected or occuring. An extended period of freezing drizzle is expected tonight and into Thursday morning, especially inland and over higher terrain. Freezing drizzle will change to drizzle or rain on Thursday when temperature are expected to rise above zero. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Freezing drizzle can produce thin, hard to detect layers of ice. Weather Advisories for Freezing Drizzle are issued when drizzle falling in sub zero temperatures is expected to freeze on contact, and over time create icy surfaces.
