Waltons heroics left the Tornadoes and Trenton tied atop the District 14A standings heading into next weeks showdown on the Tide turf. In other games involving Obion County teams, Obion Central quarterback Ben Jones threw for one touchdown and ran for another, but the Rebels saw Wesview pull away with 17 points in the fourth quarter in a 37-16 Charger win. Bryce Warner, who scored both Rebel two-point conversions, rushed for 94 yards on 15 carries, while Jacob Hyde added 79 yards rushing on 15 carries. The Rebs fall to 3-6 overall and 0-4 in District 13AA and will be off this week before closing the regular season Nov. 2 at home against Milan. South Fulton (2-6) saw its playoff hopes dealt a severe blow with a 37-25 loss at Gibson County. The Pioneers piled up 463 yards vs. SF, breaking open a 13-all deadlock at the half.
