Now, finally, here is the conclusion youve been waiting for! Thank you all so much for your contributions! Last time, we asked: WHAT MAKES A SONG LIKABLE FOR YOU? YOUR ANSWER: A good song is something you can love for many reasons. It should touch your soul and open everybodys heart and feelings, it has to grab you deep inside and make your whole body move to every instrument. It should also be able to make you dance and sing and just have fun. A good song is something you can get addicted to, something you cannot resist. It should have a message behind it, and the music should be that good that you remember all the words without actually hearing the lyrics. Moreover, it should come straight from the musicians heart and soul. It should make you feel a strong beat and rhythm, and it should not be too clear-cut and catchy, just right for you and other people to enjoy. Furthermore, the actual songwriting, i.e. the arrangements and lyrics, should be convincing, accompanied by catchy riffs. As one of our friends put it, The whole thing is a mystery in the making... thats what I really dig about music.
