FRIENDLY REMINDER FOR PARTICIPATION IN FUND RAISE EVENT: With Baba’s blessings and efforts of volunteers, group of dedicated volunteers are helping in fund raise event in Edmonton since May 11, 2013. The first fund raise ongoing program is as follows: City of Edmonton, Alberta has given us a responsibility to clean 8(eight) business blocks every week for 16 weeks i.e. from May 11, 2013 to Aug 24, 2013. For each block, ‘Sai Aastha Foundation” will get $40/week i.e. $320/block and $5,120 for 8 blocks under this fund raise program. We are almost halfway and dedicated volunteers are working in a team with full zeal. All 8 groups have their own group captain and Srinivasan Sethuraman, Teal Lead (volunteer) is managing successfully all groups. The above activities are during the weekend only. The next fund raise event is on June 29, 2013 (Saturday) at Commonwealth Stadium, Edmonton during the first Edmonton Eskimo game from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Our volunteers will go to Stadium on June 29th at 12:30 pm and will help the staff in cleaning during the game. Only volunteers from Sai Aastha Foundation will be there and the society will get $500 for this volunteer work. Our society got the name during the lucky draw first time. There will be total 10 games during this year and we are the first one. Please note that we have limited time for this fund raise activity. Also, the Mandir got a grant of $2,600 from Government of Alberta, for the community support activity. We are working on the proposal and will communicate to all of you to participate in the program. Please mark your calendar for the “Gurupurnima Mahotsava Celebration 2013” on July 21 and July 22, 2013, which will be 4th Anniversary of the Sai Baba Mandir.
