Lucy Gonzalez Faith Hoagland okay so I am completely and totally outraged right now. so were standing on front porch looking over in the direction of our neighbors house when we see a Tehama county sheriff officer Boots Car number 391 to be exact pull up get out of this car and approach the neighbors fence where are neighbors non-aggressive friendly pitbull was sitting on the inside of the fence. Flow our neighbors pitbull was setting calmly the officer appeared to be leaning down to pet Flow so Flow stood up expecting to get a kind scrach on the head. The officer then MACED poor Flow in the face and down her body. Only after the attack by the officer Flow started to bark. The officer then threatened to shoot Flow if not restrained. This officer did not have any reason to need to enter the gate he had nothing that had to have proof of service nor did he have a reason to speak to the tenant of the residents he had notice that was non court related non filed document that could have been posted on the mailbox out side of the gate. The Tehama county sheriff officer Boots Car number 391 did this to simply to gain the attention of the owner inside the home. When I called to report this Crime committed by someone who is supposed to protect and served as well as uphold the law I was told it was only a dog so it didnt matter and dismisted. Can somebody please tell me how a officer of the law can commit animal cruelty and it not be a crime. please Im hoping that everybody will spread the word law inforcment must be hell to the same standards as general public. Flow did nothing wrong she is not just a dog she is a member of the family as well as a perscription Companion Care pet and this can not be over looked. AGAIN THIS WAS A TEHAMA COUNTY SHERIFF OFFICER BOOTS CAR NUMBER 391. This happened on Oct. 15, 2013 between 8am and 9am. In Redbluff Ca.
