FROM: ACADEMICS DIRECTOR 16th October, 2013 TO: ALL STUDENTS RE: APPOINTMENT OF MUSO EDITOR-IN-CHIEF Pursuant to Article 11 F section (iv) and customs and past practices of nomination of the MUSO Editor-In-Chief, it is only the Academics Director who is authorized to call for application for the same and oversee the whole process. In the spirit of the Muso constitution, and by powers conferred to the Director of Academics, I do hereby advertise for the formation of a panel to oversee the process to its final conclusion in order to ensure TRANSPARENCY, ACCOUNTABLITY and FAIRNESS. Subject to the Constitution Article 12, the panel shall consist of • The Director of Academic Affairs who is the chair of the panel • Not more than TWO members of the SGC appointed by the S.G.C • Not more than two ordinary members outside S.G.C appointed by the S.G.C To make the process ALL-INCLUSIVE, transparent, accountable, fair and just; the chairpersons of various media houses within campus or their representatives are invited to apply to be part of the interviewing panel. I, therefore, direct that we must first form the panel which will receive the applications before proceeding with short-listing as insinuated in a parallel memo not originating from this office. TYPED SUBMISSIONS SHOULD BE DROPPED AT THE MUSO CYBER BY THURSDAY 17TH OCTOBER, 2013 LATEST 2.00 PM.
