FROM DUST TO LIFE - GENESIS 3:9 - 19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return. (v.19 NKJV) The story of the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden is no myth and it is not just any story formed liked that. Friend, believe it and pray that you be a better Adam or Eve. That sad event in that garden brought to the world of man several curses, troubles and death (even to the real man). We may not be treating this story now, but you should be reminded of the events that led to the woeful situation man has found himself till this day. It should also remind you of the thoughts and plans of the ‘bad guy’ called the devil or Satan. May you be delivered from his tricks and troubles. Just like the LORD GOD called to Adam, Where are you? So is HE calling out to you too today, saying, Where are you? Adam heard GOD but hid himself from GOD (but really, he can’t hide from GOD). Can you hear HIS voice? Are you bold to face him or you are hiding from Him? Is your sin covering your heart or face from seeing the true GOD? Adam could lay his fault on Eve his wife. Eve found the serpent to blame for her errors. The spirit in the serpent knew who he was and he knew the problem was that of Adam and Eve and the children that would come from them. What or who are you putting your faults on? Would you recognize the correction for these errors and problems? HE IS JESUS CHRIST! “For if by the one mans offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:17 NKJV). Pause and think on this! Friend, with Jesus Christ, it is no longer from dust to dust but it is now from ‘dust to life’ in Christ with GOD! Would you give this Jesus the chance to change the situation for you? Pray for forgiveness where necessary. Pray the breath of GOD on you, on your business, home or family, on your academics and every of your activities. May you be changed and blessed. Amen!
