SCRIPTURE READING: MARK 4:1 - 10 (KJV). Jesus Christ parables of Gods Kingdom illustrate the basic elements of Christians living and how the Kingdom life (which is a prerequisite for any service in Gods Kingdom) is formed or built. We will survey the vital role a mans heart condition plays in how much impact Gods Word has in making him fit for Gods service, as we reflect on the parable of the sower. A sower went out.... Lets look at verse 3 and 14 together: Behold a sower went out to sow ... and to sow the Word of God as the seed What does this mean? The Christian life begins when the proper Word of God is sown into a life, if the heart is a good ground. Every time God wants to save a soul, the first thing He does is to sow His Word into that life. Each time God wants to change a mans life or change his destiny, there is no other method God uses other than sowing His Word into that life. The gospel is Gods powerful method of changing men. (ROMANS 1:16). We must prepare our hearts to receive Gods Word for our change to be effected. More Grace!!!
