FROM THE NEWSROOM: It will be some time this evening before two large power outages in the Quinte Region are resolved. The electricity went out in an area stretching from Trenton to Spring Brook, and east to Wallbridge-Loyalist Road at about three oclock this afternoon, leaving 59-hundred Hydro One customers without service. Another three-thousand homes near Napanee also lost their hydro about half an hour later. Crews are working on restoring service, but say it could be 7-30 tonight before everyone is back on the grid. The cause of the outages hasnt been determined, but thunderstorms did roll through the local area this afternoon.
