School time For those of you that have misfortune to use the Dartford crossing on the M25 here are some facts. The pay booths have been removed and is now automated. You have 48hrs to pay for your crossing from the moment you make your crossing on line or by phone. However when you make your first crossing you are given 14 days grace to make the payment. Although you might well receive a fine in that time. As long as you pay within the 14 days the fine is null and void. Anyone can hold an account with upto 5 cars registered and this costs £1.67 per crossing rather than £2 per crossing. Registering is simple although you have put £10 in your account to get started. Hope that clears up some of the myths surrounding this :-) Although you might be still blown up by a terrorist or stuck in traffic for hours.... Happy Christmas!
