FROM THE NEWSROOM: MILFORD, Mass. (AP) — Authorities are again searching for a teenager from Rhode Island who went missing while swimming in a Massachusetts quarry. Area media report dive teams this morning were back at Fletcher Quarry in Milford to look for the 18-year-old youth who went missing early Sunday afternoon. Witnesses say the young man jumped from a high ledge and landed in the water awkwardly and did not resurface. His name was not immediately made public. He was swimming in the privately-owned quarry with several friends. Police say the water is 100 feet deep in some areas and is full of debris, including old cars. Police say keeping trespassers away from the dangerous quarries is almost impossible.
