FROM THE NEWSROOM: State police say that the operator of a motorcycle that crashed in Brooklyn Thursday evening died as a result of his injuries. In a report, police said that 32-year-old Levi Saucier, of Wolf Den Road, Brooklyn, was traveling on Bush Hill Road at about 7 oclock last night when he lost control of his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Saucier sustained fatal injuries when the motorcycle traveled off of the roadway and came to an uncontrolled final rest. Police did not say whether Saucier was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Bush Hill Road was closed for a period of time last night while emergency personnel attended to the scene.
