FROM YOUR PASTORS HEART “Walk In Forgiveness.” The German Philosopher Schopenhauer compared the human race to porcupines huddled together on a winter night: “The colder it gets outside, the more we huddle together for warmth. But the closer we get…the more we hurt one another with our sharp quills.” That’s the risk we take of loving each other, becoming close and sharing the joys, hardships, tragedies, and celebrations that make us who we are. But it is the “Agape Love” that Christ first gave us that allows us to show that love for each other, and bare those grief’s, burdens, and praises that transforms us not only into who we are, but reminds us of WHOSE we are…A forgiven, Loved, CHOSEN Creation of God. A creation that can be peace makers, a creation of Brothers and Sisters who can talk, maybe not always agree, but certainly not let our few differences come between us and the One, who gave so much to make us His. We are One in Him, and He is the One in us who makes us one in ALL things. Love you ALL! PD
