To make this meal more fun, give your toddler the skewered pieces and ask her to thread on the plastic straw. 2. Substitute with fruits such as seedless grapes, diced papino, banana, etc. serve with a slice of whole-wheat bread for a balanced meal. Alternatively, cube the bread and add the pieces to the kebab. Pulling the pieces of food off the kebab encourages fine motor co-ordination.
