FT:Spurs 0-Liverpool 3. It was good a response by the player after that Etihad defeat. Heres my insight on each department. Goalkeeper. Mignolet,apart from that point blank save from Chadli effort,he had a quite game as the Spurs forward where kept at bay through out the game.Having said that,at times his decision making can be questioned. Rating:7.0 Defender. Both FB had an excellent game,keep going forward and managed to show Spurs flankers the byline. Sakho dis well in the aerial battle against Adebayor.But,he did put the team under pressure with his too casual pass.Lovren was leading the backline with confidence,making few last ditch tackles.Moreno solo goal was the moment of the game. Rating:7.5 Midfield. Gerrard as usual marshalling the middle of the park,spraying the passes,screening the back four. Joe Allen had an good game,playing part that leading to that second goal. Henderson running from box to box,making opposition player hard to pick him out. Rating:8.0 Forward. Balotelli had quite good game in his maiden appreance for the Reds.Seems to be clicking with his partners in crime,Sturridge.While Sturridge plays a major role for the first and the second goal.Sterling bamboozling the Spurs backline with his tricks and pace.He open the accounts with his cooly left foot finish.
