At this time, these funnel clouds are not expected to reach the ground. In the unlikely event that a funnel cloud does touch down, it would be capable of producing minor and brief damage similar to severe thunderstorm wind gusts. Therefore, if a funnel cloud is spotted, the same precautions should be taken as if a sever thunderstorm were approaching. Take shelter in a sturdy building away from windows.
