FURLOUGH UPDATE: All NAVAIR HQ employees should return to work at their regular hours on Monday, Oct 7, unless otherwise notified. Those who will not be recalled will be contacted Sunday with further info. Legislation may be enacted to provide back pay for furloughed employees, to include restoration of leave. However, this cannot be done until the shutdown ends. This recall to work does not yet apply to furloughed NAS staff and other employees. Information is forthcoming from CNIC, NDW, and NAS Pax River, and other tenant chains of command regarding other BSO recalls.
