FVMG midwives are aware that many women have some not-so-happy feelings about their birth. Others have a hard time with breast-feeding. We have found its good to talk about it, especially with other mums. So we are again hosting a Special Postpartum (after the baby) Group for women who would like to share their stories with other women. The group will be facilitated by midwife Jules Atkins and clinical counselor Katy Brookes. Katy specializes in this area, and offers individual and couples counseling as well. The next Special group will be on Wednesday, April 30 at 2:30 - 3:30 pm in the basement room of the Abbotsford FVMG clinic at 32310 South Fraser Way. Women who have had their babies with the FVMG WITHIN THE LAST SIX MONTHS are welcome to attend. Please call 604-852-3707 to let us know if you plan to attend.
