FYI - For Your Imagination - George Burns & Gracie Allen Show UNAIRED PILOT FILM - EXTREMELY RARE From the Comedy vault - Here it is folks, perhaps the single most rare video I have to offer: this is a full length test film done prior to the debut of the Burns and Allen show, most likely for the purpose of selling the show to a sponsor. You wont find *any* information on this program in the books written about George and Gracie, only a brief mention of Gracie insisting on a camera test because she was nervous how she would look on TV. Well, this isnt just some short, single scene camera test. Its a full blown pilot episode, with fake commercials inserted because no sponsor had been secured yet (Carnation later signed on as sponsor on the basis of this film). The script is basically the same as the one used for their debut episode, but certainly not identical.
