FYI Finland is a major arms trading partner with Israel. Between 2004-2007, Finland was the second largest exporter of missile technology to Israel. At present, the Fin Ministry of Defense is in the process of acquiring unmanned aircraft worth more than €17 million from Israel. The military equipment comes with the label field-tested. (References provided if necessary). MoD recently classified the arms trade information between Finland and Israel as secret. The EU once criticized Finlands arms trade with Israel as being against the EU trade regulations. The most highlighted Israeli weapon system used in the war last week is the newly developed Iron Dome anti-missile system against short-range rockets and mortars. The system is now widely praised in the military press for protecting Tel Aviv and other Israeli cities. It is has also contributed to its export potential. The United States, South Korea and several NATO countries in Europe have already shown serious interest in the system.
