The Religious Coalition for a Nonviolent Durham invites you to a PRAYER VIGIL honoring the life Jevontez Deshawn Massey on NOV 23, Saturday, 1PM, at Morning Glory Avenue & Belt Street, Durham. Mr. Massey was fatally shot on Tuesday, November 5th. He was 22 years old, father of 1 year-old daughter, and beloved by many. Vigil will be led by faith leaders from across the city. Show up, know nothing, and expect healing. Driver St. Durham. Saturday, November 16th 10am - 2pm Families of murder victims retreat at Martin St. Baptist Church, 1001 E. Martin St. Raleigh, NC 27601. Includes a brief speaker, healing circles, and a catered lunch. 2 - 4pm Community portion of Invisible Families: Responding to the Harm of Violence in Our Community. with local advocates, Jon Powell and Nia Wilson.
