FYI from Teresa Gawrych, MSU Department of Communication: My video class is shooting two short films and they are wanting to enter them into the Magnolia Film Festival and other film festivals. Both are dialogue heavy short films. Our last audition day is tonight, November 6 from 6-10. Since there are two short films, please designate which one you are auditioning for so we can make a more accurate schedule (you are allowed to audition for both). Current State audition times are from 7:30-9p.m. tonight and they would need to reserve a 15 minute slot. They can e-mail PracticumCasting@gmail Acroamatic audition times are from 7 p.m.- 10 p.m., however there is already an audition scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Roles in both shorts have been written for actors who are 18-25 years old, or could pass for that age. There are female and male roles. If they are unable to attend tonight, they can e-mail PracticumCasting@gmail to set up a video audition and obtain a copy of the script and audition instructions. Current State will be shot on Thursday Nov 13 @ 5 pm and Friday Nov 14 @ 5 pm. Possibly another shooting day, depending on what all we can get done on both days. Acroamatic will be shot on Thursday Nov 20 @ 6 pm, Friday Nov 21 @ 1:45 pm and Sunday Nov 23 @ 9:30 am. Auditions are being held in McComas room 216 and 211 tonight.
