FaCEbOOK FRiDaY WRaP Up Well, this week has been something else….but through every tough circumstance that came of the week….huge blessings were revealed as always and another volume of memories made….. 1) So it’s not a good idea to put Dawn dish soap in the washing machine. Oh come on…don’t act like no one else ever considered trying it when they ran out of Gain at 1AM. 2) I’m your huckleberry.. The Pepsi salesman rode his personal Ford Explorer on a donut spare all the way back to Borden County from Odessa to bring me my order. 3) After begging and pleading to make a 9PM visit to Dollar General to buy a surprise for the family….Blane came out with a basketball, a football, and new set of headphones. The surprise for the family was that he would like to share these things with us, when he isn’t using them. 4) Leroy’s life has taken a turn in the wrong direction. She has started…stealing. Things she took: the keys to my truck, one of Ben’s red socks, my hair ties…worst of all…she took off with our miniature Abraham Lincoln chess piece. 5) Monday morning, a complete stranger in the car in front of me at McDonald’s paid for my Egg McMuffin. I was stunned by the kindness. I wanted to pay it forward immediately, but there was a carrier van behind me with what appeared to be two dozen people inside. Hold on…don’t get all bent out of shape…I paid it forward the next day. 6) Ben and his teammates played a great game Thursday night for a win over the Lubbock Titans…15 years ago, I would never have imagined my own kids representing and attending the school that I went to and love so much….words can’t describe how proud I am. 7) A chilling, breathtaking musical treasure..digitally remastered and coming soon : Ben and Blane singing the theme song to “In the Heat of the Night.” 8) I’m too busy tending to my own business to know what’s going on with anybody else’s business… Know what I mean Vern? 9) Bryan’s frustration continues to mount…no one believes his claim that he beat Granny Bertie in a game of dominoes….no one. 10) Many of us have hectic lives…its easy to get bent out of shape in all the running, going and doing that we do….especially when we it seems that the majority of our time is wrapped up in going and doing for others. Galations 6:9 tells us “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” I’m going to keep that in mind this week. Have a blessed week ya’ll!
